During the summer months here in Vancouver we get to experience slow and majestic sunsets followed by a long slide into twilight and then, eventually, the full darkness of night. Thanks in part to being 49' above the equator and having the Straight of Georgia bouncing reflected sunlight off the clouds the sunsets occasionally are as rich as nature can make them. Here's a high dynamic range shot of a rather pretty one that occurred July 19 2012.
