Sunset Beach Macro 15 July 14 2011 - Wild Blue Teasel
Here's a collection of wild teasels a few weeks past bloom at Sunset Beach Vancouver. While the moist spring and summer has been a constant source of disgruntle for us humans I'm pretty certain the local flowers have the reverse opinion.

I really like this photograph because of Maggie's right side (our right side) ear. This image was a composite of 3 as part of the HDR process. Once integrated together on the computer they not only have a much richer tonal range but also a temporal one. Things that move outside the limits of the software move in the picture. Zoom in on Maggie's right ear to see her radar in motion.
