Vancouver is often called 'Hollywood North'. Being a young city (just over 120 years old) we have a diverse collection of ... well ... everything. Combine decent tax breaks with a perfect location for shooting a wide range of movies or TV shows we get them all. Sci-fi, crime dramas, rom-coms, zombie flics, etc.
Here's our Vanier Park and The HR MacMillan Space Center looking quite spooky in the artificial fog of the next block buster. Spectacular sunset as a backdrop provided free of charge.
